Horngarth Lodgings offer comfort, style and convenience for your stay in Whitby, on the North Yorkshire Coast.

Situated on the town’s West Cliff, Skinner Street is a charming yet relatively quiet shopping street, with great views from the back, as shown above.

Although the old town over the river, is rightly famous for its cobbled streets and quaint yards, Skinner Street offers a range of interesting shops, cafes and galleries. An excellent deli is only a stone’s throw from the accommodation, while our neighbours, the quirky, licensed tearoom, Rusty Shears will delight and keep you going when you feel peckish.

Skinner Street is also home to a number of diverse restaurants and cafes, including a tiny but top-rated bistro style eatery, and a gluten-free cafe/restaurant with a bit of an alternative feel.

The famous bakers and confectioners, Botham’s of Whitby can be found only 50 yards from your accommodation – on your way up the street to the sea front.

Whitby is a great place to visit, whatever the season, so why not stay in comfort and style at the Horngarth Luxury Lodgings?

Parking Options

You will be able to stop on the street outside to unload your luggage, however, there is no dedicated parking at Horngarth Lodgings.

On-street parking is usually available within a 5 minute walk from your accommodation.
We will provide you with a parking permit for the duration of your stay.

Alternatively, there are several local authority car parks nearby.

A note about accessibility

All the rooms and the apartment at Horngarth Lodgings are either on the first or second floor. They are therefore, unfortunately, not suitable for people with mobility issues.
